Forging the product.
Ken is founder of Workforce Performance, LLC, the company behind RateSmith. He has over 30 years of experience designing and building software for complex pay and bill scenarios, evolving the product through direct client feedback across 12 industries, beginning with textile manufacturing in New England. Previously, Ken managed a 100-person division in the microelectronics research business at Polaroid. He earned his BS in Physics at Bates College and his MS in Material Science at RPI.
Nathan brings over 10 years of experience in the HR and ERP software industry to RateSmith. Most recently he was lead sales engineer and solution consultant at DataFuZion (acquired by Dayforce), where he helped enable over $200 million in new recurring revenue across three years. Before that, he started the Human Capital Management practice at SWK Technologies, growing the Sage HRMS practice into the second largest in the United States and securing one of the first four ADP reseller partnerships.
With over 20 years in the HCM and ERP software world, Scott is a true industry veteran. Most recently he helped launch DataFuZion (later acquired by Dayforce), driving business development and building relationships with prospects, customers, and partners. Prior to that he was a Senior Major Market Sales Executive at Paycor, consistently performing at Platinum Club level, following 12 years at ADP across multiple sales organizations where he frequently earned Presidents Club.
Mitch brings more than three decades of experience in HR, HCM, and payroll, architecting solutions for organizations with the most complex compensation environments. A SHRM Senior Certified Professional, he specializes in union and collective bargaining agreement payroll, certified payroll compliance, and multi-system integration across HCM/Payroll and ERPs. A rare combination of deep technical depth and hands-on discovery, he has spent his career translating tangled real-world pay rules into systems that hold up under audit. At RateSmith he leads technical discovery and demos, showing buyers exactly how the calculation logic that breaks conventional payroll systems works in practice.
